Returns & Refunds Policy
At City Tiles & Bathrooms, we aim to provide high-quality products and excellent customer service. If you need to return an item, please review the following policy carefully.
Returns Eligibility
To be eligible for a return:
- Products must have been purchased within the last 30 days.
- Items must be unused, uninstalled, and in their original packaging.
- Goods must be in a clean, resaleable condition.
- Proof of purchase must be provided.
- All returns must be approved by City Tiles & Bathrooms before being accepted.
Returns requested outside of the 30-day period will not be accepted.
Restocking Charge
All approved returns are subject to a 20% restocking charge, which will be deducted from the refund amount.
This charge covers handling, inspection, repackaging, and administration costs associated with processing returned goods.
Returns Over €250
Any return with a value exceeding €250 must be reviewed and approved by the relevant Branch Manager before it can be accepted.
Approval is granted at the discretion of management and may depend on the condition, quantity, and type of products being returned.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned:
- Special-order or made-to-order products.
- Custom-cut materials.
- Clearance, discontinued, or ex-display products.
- Installed, fitted, or used products.
- Opened adhesives, grouts, silicones, sealants, and other consumable products.
- Products returned without original packaging.
- Any item not in a condition suitable for resale.
Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Goods
Please inspect all goods immediately upon delivery or collection.
Any damaged, faulty, missing, or incorrect items must be reported within 48 hours of receipt.
Photographs may be requested to assist with the assessment of any claim. Where appropriate, we will arrange a replacement, repair, or refund.
We strongly recommend checking all products before installation, as claims cannot be accepted once products have been fitted or installed.
Tile Orders
Tiles are manufactured in batches, and slight variations in shade, size, and texture may occur.
Customers should ensure sufficient quantities are ordered before installation to allow for cuts, wastage, and future maintenance.
Surplus tile returns may be accepted subject to the conditions outlined in this policy and will be subject to the standard 20% restocking charge.
Refunds
Once returned goods have been inspected and approved, refunds will be processed to the original payment method.
Please allow up to 10 working days for approved refunds to be completed.
Original delivery charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to an error made by City Tiles & Bathrooms or a confirmed product fault.
*For purchases made by card, refunds can only be processed back to the original card used for the transaction. The card must be presented at the time of refund.
Return Costs
Unless the return is due to a fault, damage, or an error on our part:
- Customers are responsible for returning goods to City Tiles & Bathrooms.
- Collection of returned items may be arranged where possible and may incur a collection fee.
- The 20% restocking charge will apply to all approved returns.
